Hôpitel’s patient self-transfer application available on both the Bedside and Footwall Terminal patient user interfaces enables patients to quickly and efficiently self-transfer their rented services directly from the TV Media Terminal. This two-step on-screen self-transfer application is a simple process and utilized frequently by users of the Hôpitel system.
Once the Hôpitel system is interfaced with the Hospital ADT system patient bed transfers are automatically tracked in the event the patient is transferred to another room as the rental service follows the patient to the new location without the need for a Hôpitel representative to activate it keeping patients’ content and entertained with continuous access to infotainment.

Data transfer speeds can achieve up to 100 MPBs customisable as per the hospital requirements. Patient Health Education Media
Hôpitel can make available to patients On-Demand, On-Schedule, or Prescriptive Patient Educational information on the in-room TV Media Terminal in hospitals, on wireless Tablets in clinics and on Computers and Smart Phones in the patient’s home via its cloud based PatientLogix Media Delivery platform for patient awareness and training on disease, self-care, and rehabilitation. Each hospital can view, order and manage its own content from Health Education videos residing on the PatientLogix Media cloud platform or utilize its own licensed content to ensure that it is always screened and fully endorsed by its own medical staff prior to any broadcast.

Patient Health Education Media Follow-Up Questionnaires
Hôpitel enables clinicians to prescribe health education media follow-up questionnaires to patients after they have viewed a health educational video or a health education informational PDF to empower health educators to evaluate the patient’s comprehension levels of the health educational content, they viewed utilizing a scoring feature to ensure their comprehension of the content is measured and passes the scoring threshold percentage that is set by the clinician.
