Hôpitel's next generation Hospital Grade Bedside Touchscreen TV Media Terminals have been designed for touch from the ground up, and are available for bedside applications in 15.6” and 18.5” screen size configurations utilizing webOS®, Windows® or Android® operating systems.
The silent fanless technology integrates an all-in-one touch computer within the footprint of a 15.6" or 18.5” LCD monitor with such features as spill-resistant sealing, the latest anti-bacterial technology and materials, smart card readers, integrated telephone, stereo speakers, microphone, and camera. This TV Media Terminal delivers a compelling interactive experience directly to patients and medical personnel and is an ideal platform for Hôpitel’s entire patient Infotainment, Health Education, Surveys, Communications and Medical Point-of Care applications.
Hôpitel's next generation Hospital Grade Footwall TV Media Terminals have been designed for large screen viewing and are available for footwall applications in 28”, 32”, 43” and 55” screen size configurations utilizing a set top box running webOS® or Windows® operating systems. Additionally, Hôpitel has developed an exclusive TV Remote Pillow Speaker with a built-in QWERTY Keyboard and mouse feature to be used in conjunction with the large screen TV platform enabling patients to self-rent, surf the internet and enjoy all the same interactive applications that the bedside TV Media Terminals offer.
In addition to regular TV viewing of Broadcast TV all Hôpitel's Hospital Grade TV Media Terminals can deliver a variety of interactive applications such as Internet access, secure access in retrieving patient Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Dietary Selection, Bed Management/Status and IPTV, On-Demand TV, Movies, Music, Radio, Relaxation Videos, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Games, Health Educational Videos, Questionnaires and Surveys that can be directed to a specific TV Media Terminal. These TV Media Terminal's superior screen resolution allows patients or staff members to access the Internet in much the same way as on their home computer. They also boast a Self-Rent feature enabling patients to have immediate access to Television, Internet and On-Demand programming.

The Hospital Grade Bedside Touchscreen TV Media Terminals are compatible with all existing power supplies and TV Media Terminal articulating support arms in today's hospitals. It has a low voltage AC/DC power supply, a spill-proof cabinet design with liquid seal, concealed cables and connectors and is composed of the latest anti-bacterial technology and materials with a hygienic membrane/ micro-switch control panel, and is UL & CSA Approved for hospital use.
The Footwall Hospital Grade TV operates on a 110-volt electrical outlet, has built-in TV Remote Pillow Speaker input jack amongst many of other media input and output jacks, is composed of the latest anti-bacterial technology and materials with a hygienic membrane and is UL & CSA Approved for hospital use.
Audio
All Hôpitel Hospital Grade TVs, Hospital Grade TV Media Terminals and Patient TV Remote Pillow Speakers are manufactured with:
- Audio levels that can be pre-set to a lower normalized sound for personal listening in a hospital environment to ensure other patients in shared patient rooms will not be disturbed.
- Audio jacks for headphones that plugs into the audio jacks for private listening.

Hôpitel has been has installing and utilizing Hospital Grade articulating designed arm-mounted TV solutions to fit a wide range of different healthcare settings. These innovative and UL-Listed arms and arm mounts allow patient devices to be placed on headwalls, counters, floors, ceilings, chairs, and more.
