Hôpitel's next generation foot wall mounted hospital grade LCD TV Media Stations uses the latest LCD technology. Designed specifically for Healthcare applications these high-tech TV Media Stations are available in 22", 26", 32" and 42” configurations and provide many unique features not found in consumer LCD TV media appliances. The MeditelTM LCD TV Media Stations are hospital grade, fully isolated and safe.

The foot wall mounted LCD TV Media Stations have built-in Closed Captioning, oversized easy-to-read controls and 22", 26", 32”and 42" screen sizes from which to choose for optimum viewing. It also boasts a Self-Rent feature enabling patients to have immediate access to Broadcast Television, Scheduled Movie Channel, On-Demand programming and Internet. Each of the LCD's six Service Levels or tiers can be individually programmed with features such as speaker ON/OFF and Marquee or promotional channels that can display important hospital information every time the LCD TV is turned on. Excellent sound quality is achieved through the two front facing stereo speakers, or through a pillow speaker for private listening. Maximum volume limit can also be programmed.

As each foot wall mounted LCD TV has a built-in computer port, it can be used for regular television viewing or as an interactive display terminal when equipped with an optional Meditel™ computer module. In this configuration the LCD can deliver a variety of Interactive Applications such as Internet access, secure access in retrieving patient Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Dietary Selection, Bed Management/Status and On-Demand TV, Movies, Music, Health Educational Videos, Questionnaires and Surveys that can all be directed to a specific LCD TV Media Station or department. The LCD's superior screen resolution allows patients or staff members to access the Internet in much the same way as on their home computer.
