Hôpitel's next generation hospital grade Touch Screen LCD TV Media Stations have been designed for touch from the ground up, and is available in a TV only 15” or 18” screen size configurations.

As each LCD TV Media Station has a built-in computer port, it can be used for regular television viewing of Broadcast TV and Scheduled Movie Channels or as an interactive display terminal when equipped with an optional Meditel computer module. In this configuration the LCD can deliver a variety of Interactive Applications such as Internet access, secure access in retrieving patient Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Dietary Selection, Bed Management/Status and On-Demand TV, Movies, Music, Health Educational Videos, Questionnaires and Surveys that can all be directed to a specific Media Station or department.

The LCD's superior screen resolution allows patients or staff members to access the Internet in much the same way as on their home computer. It also boasts a Self-Rent feature enabling patients to have immediate access to television and On-Demand programming.

The hospital grade Touch Screen LCD TV Media Stations is compatible with all existing power supplies and Media Station articulating support arms in today's hospitals. It has a low voltage AC/DC power supply, a spill-proof cabinet design with liquid seal, concealed cables and connectors and is composed of the latest anti-bacterial technology and materials with a hygienic membrane/ micro-switch control panel, and is UL & CSA Approved for hospital use.
